Paramecium

Post by SW_Perspective »

I've been finding quite a few of these in the sediment at the bottom of a near-by pond. The muck that they're found in explains the busy backgrounds. (I'm finding that slide prep is probably more important than photographic technique in order to get good results.) All are phase contrast shot with NFK 3.3x, S Plan 40X PL and all have a width of 178 microns unless otherwise indicated.
