Incredible!
The more angled shape of the cells and the plasmodesma net reminds me a bit on V. globator. What about the size of the whole Volvox ball?

Thanks. They ranged in size, average was about 300µm.

Then it is V. aureus.
V. globator is about 500 µm in diameter and as I just have read in "Huber Pestalozzi: Volvocales" more elliptical than round in shape.

Thanks. They are very fragile - and round, so trick was to get them not squashed yet still enough for stacking.
