Very nice finding.
The second images could be very impressive and attractive if you could take it in other techniques and with better quality objectives. By the way, what kind of objectives and microscope do you use ?

Marek,
The first image was about a 30 shot stack in Zerene with a 20x objective with a darkfiled stop of my own design.
The second shot was with a 40x objective stacked with a UGF filter of about 20 shots in the stack.
These are from diatom colonies surrounding "dead" algae filaments.
