It works without, but it has high NA, so it is not as good as it could be for such specimens. I really have to buy an objective for noncover glass use.

Thanks! I just try different densities... I think I've found a way but it is still just a 'feeling' what to do. Diameter is between 1 and 4 mm.

that piece of dirt made it even more flower-like (:
