I don't have really spectacular images to post but ordinary subjects can also have surprises. This Daphnia fell victim to a fungus. After I checked the slide one and a half hour later it had developed spores.

I'll add a cross eyed stereo. Is it preferred to have a light frame around it? I can free view very easy myself but perhaps this helps to fuse. Any suggestions are welcome.

The yellow stuff is Botryococcus brauni. If anyone knows what kind of fungus this is, please let me know.

regards, Wim

I would say that capturing a Daphnia being parasitized by a fungus that then sporulates right before your eyes is pretty spectacular. I wish I had the opportunity to observe that happening.
