I have tested Helicon Focus, CombineZP and Zerene Stacker. For me, Zerene Stacker yields the best results. For freeware, Combine ZP is very good and also has a function for HDR. Helicon Focus has too many artifacts for my taste, most notably haloing.

Well, Helicon Focus is the gym with which I am learning to do stacking. It's easy to work. In a short time I will try to have Zerene. And even a microscope and a better cam.
