Well, not human hi tech, its a snail radula (also called tongue or palate) from an old prepared slide.

Leitz Pl Fluotar 10/0.30. DIC color contrast

Leitz NPl Fluotar 25/0.55. DIC

Colors may be nice but here don't have any significance. I prefer the more SEM like grayscale versions:

Really nice shots. Although SEM guys do so much false colorization of their images (I am guilty of this on occasion) that your DIC color versions could still be confused with SEM micrographs. Very impressive.
