Thank you all for your comments.I'm adding a new image of the microchip this time under dark field illumination.This is taken with a zeiss BD 20x objective.
This microchips are very good test targets because they are relative optical flat (no stacking is needed) and they have details that they are near or beyond objectives resolving power.Since i have access to them i'm seriously thinking to also let other people put their hands on them........

Very different looking and nice again, despite I prefer the first image.
When you say epi bright field I suppose that you're illuminating the sample thorugh the objective itself and you don't use polarizers, am I right?, if so this is very nice, when I try BF epi I get lots of glare without polarization.

Thank you Pau.Yes the first image was taken with light from above and throught the objective "epi brightfield" without using any polarizers.
