Thanks, all. From what I have read thyere are something like 13,000 species of Ostracods, and I admire anyone who can track these by species.
For most of us, they are somewhat mundane and they shoot by and disturb subjects of particular interest. But some of these species have distinctive markings, and so when I find one of particular pictorial interest, I shoot a stack. From what I have observed, Ostracods are something like butterflies in their markings.
