Anytime I see something under the microscope that seems unusual, interesting, or amusing, I make a video of it. I had never seen a Collotheca before, so I found it unusual and interesting. Hope you do as well.

Thanks! I agree about the beauty as what initially caught my eye was the streaming out of the long cilia in darkfield. I got some footage of a couple of Lepadella Rotifers apparently "chewing" off those cilia and wonder if this is a common occurrence.ralfwagner wrote:Very interesting.
