This is a nice find.
It probably is Scapholeberis rammneri (parallel stripes on the posterior margin of the shell).

Recent microcrustaceans

Thank you Charlie, Vasselle, Jacek, Carlos and Clado for your kind remarks about my recent small game photos. After a very frustrating spring series of pond dips, I found one in a local neighbors backyard that is very rich in microcrustacea.
I focus stack (sometimes joining images in Microsoft Image Editor) and then clean up the backgrounds and edges with a WACOM tablet.
