I was about to complete a video showing several food captures by a Lacrymaria olor when I happened to catch what I thought was an unusual behavior in this organism. Take a look and judge for yourself just what is going on.
To see the stretched out "neck," view this in YouTube using High Definition and full-screen.

If you watched my video of a Lacrymaria in darkfield consuming some non-nutritive material, you probably couldn't see the "neck" throughout the sequence where it stretched out across the screen. I decided to use a YouTube "Enhancement" to make it visible. The trade-off is a loss of detail in the body of the Lacrymaria.
