Yesterday we filmed this ciliate, probably Glaucoma scintillans, swimming in the vase of flowers water.
Today we see it at higher magnification, trapped between detritus.
We can see the 'lips' (membranes) in its mouth and the cilia rows in its body.
Oblique light.
Immersion objective.
