Condensation

Air bubbles under the cover slip aren't always bad.

I was looking at critters squeezed out of moss when I noticed condensation in a bubble at the edge of the slide was making a few nice abstract patterns.

I was using DIC with a 40x Neofluar at the time, so added a retardation plate for colour and got a few shots like the one below. A happy accident!
