Dragon Egg

Trinema sp. Dujardin 1841

It is amazing how beautiful life is, even at the smallest scale. This is the test of a Trinema sp. Dujardin 1841 testate amoba. The silicate scales are transparent in the light microscope.

Happy Eastern!

Not only lovely, but completely unexpected -- round silicate scales!

What a nice easter egg! I feel a bit jealous that you have easy access to this type of equipment.

Da schaut man etwas neidisch, nein eifersüchtig.

Thanks for sharing it.
