Amoeba test Euglypha?

Post by Olympusman »

It looks like Euglypha, but my source books don't show anything with so few plates. It's interesting that now that I know what to look for in a water drop, I am finding many of these smaller tests after finding so many difflugia.

I'm sure Ferry can give me a closer ID.

Though we lean upon the same balustrade, the colours of the mountain are different.

Graham,
Right you are -- wouldn't have thought of a rotifer that small. Keratella cochearis also known as Anuraea cochleris var. tecta
