Is this a test?
I ran across this the other day. It is very small -- less than the thickness of the more common fresh water diatoms. I aologize for the image quality, but after the stacks ( 5 and 6 for each image) this is the result.

I thought you meant a Quiz, but sure looks like a Test

Test
A slightly better shot. The bacteria might giv you some scale. My tentaive ID is Quadrulella symmetrica
