I am using a Nikon TE-300 (inverted microscope) with plan apo 10x 20x y 40x. I am doing bright field, dark field, phase contrast (not much of it), DIC (differential interference contrast), polarized and fluorescence. This set was taken with DIC and flash (the flash is the tool that you use to freeze the action), in this case I did not cover the rotifer colony, the second (blue) set is from a member that left the colony.

Astonishing pics, :shock: I like the hues of the background and the sharpness of the rotifer organs frozen by the flash.
