Colpoda cucullus

Post by Protos »

My first post on this forum

I keep these bean/kidney shaped ciliates at home with a grass based medium. I have used silver impregnation from Fernandez-Galiano. You can actually see quite well both maco and micro nuclei and the ciliature.

Excellent Ag stain. Which FG protocol did you use?

Beautiful work! I'd be interested in the staining protocol, as well.
