Diatom
Right now, the two pond samples on my windowsill, are essentially mud. They are dominated by small algae, many diatoms (mostly rod-shaped) and occasionally a water bear or a spiked worm or a wtaer mite covered with garbage.
No Daphia, husks of Ostracods and copedpods, but outside of some basic algae (not even Spirogyra) cloroplasts are few and far between.
