Find the second and the last to be very interesting. Good shots, all of them. :D

Damselfly nymph

The second shot is a detail of the gills. This looks like it might be a ventral view. The structure in the head in a dorsal view has much more interesting features.

In all of my images of Damselfly nymph, the vein structure in the head is almost tree-like and very distinct. It may be in fluoresence imaging the vein structure might not be rendering.

It is just the way that Helicon Focus decided to render the stack - it gave more attention to the sharper exoskeleton details than the deeper veins. The veins are there in the individual stack photos and very tree like and prominent.
