I am preparing another exposition about Beauty and Horror in the Microcosm and I am collecting many ectoparasites. Unfortunately I cannot find any Phthirus pubis here :)

I like the last one especially. I have a similar mount, but the preservation of the muscles is not as good as in yours, and you found a nice retarder setting. How did you manage to get such a strong colour in the louse muscles with a nice pale background? Was that adjusted in Photoshop?

No Photoshop, I love the Zeiss Axio Scope.A1 uniform illumination/background. I hope to make a movie too to show how the modern high level microscopes work.
