Small freshwater amoeba, Nuclearia?

Post by carlos.uruguay »

This small amoeba of some 10um (0.01mm) of length we have found it in the water of a vase.
It has long 'arms' (filopodios)
It seems to have only one nucleus.
We suppose that it belongs to the genre Nuclearia
Contrast of phase and oblique light.
100X FL immersion objective.

Yes, it resembles a Nuclearia-species.

Cheers,
