some ant pictures

Did some ant pictures. The rear end was actually quite interesting, Nikon 20x lwd and 60x elwd. The light was semi polarized, left some reflections to enhance the texture.

The third picture is a lighting experiment. I have looked for a way to use cross polarized light in combination with a diffuser. For this picture I used a Nikon 4x, a diffuser and an ordinary cirkular polarizing camera filter. Too much glass to go beyond 4x.
