Vampyrella lateritia amoeba...video

Post by fpelectronica »

Hello
Orange Amoeba.
Its orange pigment is provided by filamentous algae from which it feeds. These pigments are transformed into coratenos.

It is a Vampyrella species, but impossible to say what species. On what was it feeding and how did the cysts look?
