Scanning Electron Microscopy Images

Post by flyer2o12 »

Hi,

I present some of my work. This work has taken many months to complete. All images here are composites. For example, the Herb Robert is a composite image consisting of 80 images altogether manually stitched in x, y and z.

Hello Karl,

Very interesting images, both aesthetically and scientifically. But can I just query, is the 100um scale on the bottom one a bit of an oops?

Cheers,

These are really special. I would however consider changing the position / size of your watermark if I were you - very distracting on otherwise brilliant photos.

Excellent images!. I most like the stomata one.
But I prefer the original B&W SEM rendering, and, despite understaning the reason of use of watermarks I also find them too intrusive.

High resolution and DOF without stacking is a great advantage :D

Nice images! Did you use Variable Pressure Mode for these? What SEM did you use?

Very beautiful and impressive works which are ready to be hang on the wall.
It had to take a lot of work.

By the way I agree with some of us if about watermarks, they are too strong and slightly spoiling the final effect.

Thank you for all the compliments.

Here is my new portfolio and I have a few SEM images up now and a hell of a lot more to come!

I agree with the watermarks too, they are a bit too much! :D
