The truncated Loxodes

In this video we see a ciliated with mouth in the form of 'peak' quite common in polluted water: Loxodes
The curious thing about this Loxodes is that its rear end is truncated
Perhaps cut in some fight?
I don't know
Found in Tala, freshwater stream, Route 3, Km 88, Uruguay, South America.
