My microscope is not yet complete, still need some part of the fluorescence system. here I haven taken some photos using the transmitted light.
Subject is Pollen
Specific name: convolvulus. (they are relative large compare to other few hundreds of specimens I have)

What are those irregular shapes around the pollen?

the irregular shapes are the stain, some caused by part of the stain dried up, and some is b/c air trapped inside? I guess. :lol:

They all have different shape and textures. The only way to see the details is to use 100x with oil. 40x is still difficult to see the surface details.
