Rotifer and bacteria

Post by pwnell »

I have a new piece of driftwood in my new planted aquarium that started leaching sugars, which fuelled an exponential growth in a great diversity of bacteria. I counted at least 6 different shapes in some of the other photos not posted here.

Not sure if this rotifer was feeding on them - my guess is it was. Best viewed large.
