a nauplius from the Facetotecta ?

Post by Franz Neidl »

This time I dont have a beautiful picture, but a rather difficult question. Is this a nauplius, member from the Facetotecta ? (cfr. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Facetotecta )

brightfield, Objective 4x, seaplankton

Today I received an email from an italian expert for the Facetotecta. According to him, it is not a larva from the Facetotecta, but a very early Mysidacea.
ma gli organismi che vi ho trovato sono un copepode Oithona (Cyclopoida) e un giovanile precoce di Mysidacea.
niente naupli di facetotecta.
Sorry, but I have also to admit my errors...
