help flagellate ID

Post by carlos.uruguay »

This, for my unknown flagellate of approximately 35um long and 8um wide we have found in freshwater.
Perhaps an Urceolus species?
All information is welcome.
Oblique light, objective of 100X

Hi Rene.
Thanks for seeing the video.
The flagellated has a 'orifice' where the flagellum goes out and seems to be inside a transparent lorica,
I don't think it's peranema but I will continue looking for references

carlos

Carlos, I do think it's an elongate Urceolus of some kind.
