Long and skinny

While going through some pictures I came across these three that were... well... long and skinny. So I put them together a single picture with three panels. Enjoy.

Would ja just look at that "meba!" Family Hartmannellidae, Limax amoeba. You made my day Charlie.

Hi Charles and Ken,

o.k. thank you. So what I took as cilia on the left hand side is actually the uroid. I'd never seen this before in "real life".

Amoebas are interesting little creatures although to sit and watch them one might not think so right off. They have been described by some as having a pseudointelligence.
