This animal is from the Caprellidae (a family of the amphipods) - known as skeleton shrimps.
Plankton, seawater, about 3 mm long
Obj. 4x, brightfield

Hello Jacek,

I found this animal in seawater plankton, but the Caprellidae are not typical for Plankton. They are living in Benthos. Sometimes you can see them on algae.
The caprellidae are exclusively seawater animals.
