Nice details, it is very hard to get details of this always moving specimen.

Superb shots of a tricky subject. It's amazing how well the neck, head, and body stay in focus at the same time... especially in the video.

Curt: yes it move its neck very fast and the extension is incredible, some time it go out field of view of my eyepieces (20mm).

Albertr: i used a canon 600d with flash and DIC illumination!

It's astounding that you managed to get so much footage with everything in focus (and with the body not overly compressed).

Did you use flash when shooting the video?

I tried to read your website with google translation, but unfortunately was not able to find a page pointing to your setup. Do you happen to have an URL to it? Or maybe you can just post it here? I'm interested to know which microscope, DIC setup, lights and objectives you were using when filming this video...

no i don't use a Flash for videos, only for shots!
