Hi Rogelio,

the first image is great, I have seldomly seen those "border lines" between the cells so clear and beautiful. :-)

A superb use of two lighting/observation techniques to show different aspects of the subject. Very beautiful too.

I think my picture shows the extracellular matrix and Charlie's pictures show the cytoplasmic bridges.

Brilliant pictures. And one remark. There are only a few Volvox species that retain the cytoplasmic bridges when they grow large. This is a species without. All species have them as a developing sphere and most lose them when they are mature.
