Was lily pollen a dinner? I have prepared slide of lily pollen and it looks quite like.

Nice shots. Do you think those filaments in shot 7 are part of the nervous system? It appears the network originates in the area of the brain area. You're lucky the larva was kind enough to curl up so you could get almost all of it into the field of view with a 4X objective.
How did you narcotize it?
