Rik, I'm not sure what part of the process produces the banding. I have another photo with a lot finer banding I will post in the future, maybe some of the chemists out there can tell us.rjlittlefield wrote:Bill,

BTW, you might have noticed that your post seems awfully wide.
That's caused by not starting each [img] tag on a new line of its own.
The editing box auto-wraps, so it can be hard to tell exactly where the line breaks are. Just play with them. If the images are moved off to the right, put your editing cursor at the front of the [img] tag and hit "Enter" enough times to make an empty line above it. Then "Preview", and if you have too much space, delete line breaks until the post looks right.
