Hi Waldo,

yes, it is Euastrum, i would say Euastrum ansatum.
Very nice images, especially the fluorescence shot.

I love the colors of the fluorescence shot. The DIC is excellent as well.

It is interesting to see the DIC and fluorescence of the same subject.

What I like so much about the fluorescence shot is that it reveals the 3D structure of the chloroplasts much, much better than I can discern with DIC. Just shows you there is a reason for different illumination techniques.
