Hi,

it is spring - a great time to look at the desmids. :-)

This video shows a cell division in time lapse (125x) and some movements and cytoplasmic streaming of the desmid Euastrum oblongum.

Beautifully done! So one minute here is approximately 2 hrs, is that correct?
