Gorgeous. This fellow (sometimes called Brachionus patulus, or Platyias patulus) now goes by the name Plationus patulus. See: Segers, H., G. Murugan, and H. J. Dumont. "On the taxonomy of the Brachionidae: description of Plationus n. gen.(Rotifera, Monogononta)." Hydrobiologia 268.1 (1993): 1-8.

I've never seen a rotifer like this. Other than the foot I wouldn't even think that's a rotifer. Beautiful photos.
