The art of drying

Post by curt0909 »

The first four photos are a mix of tannic acid and dishsoap dried on slide. These were all stacked with zerene. I was hoping to show several large panoramas of these, one is 0.5 gigapixels, but photosynth is acting up at the moment and unable to host it. The panoramas are great to show the many variations of formations created by the mixture.

5,6,7 are mixtures of various crystals mixtures. For these I used two polarizers set at different angles with multiple retarders to create different colors on each side of the photo.

8 is vitamin c.

Reichert Diastar with 10x reichert achroplan and 20x olympus lucplanfl objectives paired with nikkor 200mm f4 and mamiya 150mm f3.5 as tube lenses
