Here is a set of some algae that I have found recently.

Spirogyra, stacked (a lot of retouching to show the focus plane of the nucleus), DIC

Closterium kuetzingii, stacked, DIC

The following is unknown (looks like Cosmarium):

Suuperb! Do they work for stereos, Rogelio?
I realise each layer wouldn't be retouched.

Thank you all for your comments.

Chris, I have never tried stereos because I can not cross my eyes to see them (maybe I need to buy some kind of special glasses for that). Which one would like to see stereo?

Really exquisite photography. The stacking and backgrounds are a dream.

Rogelio - I thinkthe last one would be very good. The foirst one maybe, too.
It's a wonderful little surprise when stereo first "works". I haven't met anyone yet who can't "get" it after some minutes help :)
Otherwise, the glasses must be worth trying. A rocking sequence of a few frames, too?

Very nice. #3 is my favorite. I like the way they stand out from the background. They almost pop out of the screen.

Chris, here is the stereo of the last one (no retouching inside Zerene). I have tried to see some stereo and I finally could see some of them, the big stereo are difficult yet (I have to move away the screen to see them). I can see a nice stereo (to the inside of the screen, like the specimen was cut longitudinally and you are seen from the inside to the outside) of the following image.

Love the colours in these Rogelio, really crisp too, shows all that hard editing work off.
