A few varied images from the past few days.

Micrasterias. Polarized light with full wave plate. Olympus 20X and 40X S Plan Apo objectives.

Germinating crocus pollen grain. 50X Olympus LMPLFLN on Nikon MM-11 microscope.

Dorsal side, lorica of Keratella sp. Olympus 60X S Plan Apo, DIC illumination.

Very nice images !
They reminds me my own ones but yours are more graphic, especially in the perifferial areas of this desmid. It slightly reminds me the watercolour painting
