Strange string

Post by Baley »

Well, almost everything I see looks strange; but I haven't seen anything like this one in any online collections. It resembles a clear plastic tube with spotty dark inclusions and it moves longitudinally forward and backward, and it sometimes bends a little. My first thought was a living string. ID?

Thanks ualge & Rene -- I assume the bacteria are a colony joined end to end?
