Interesting carcass on slide

Post by chrismower »

I was just looking at a contaminated slide prior to putting it in the cleaning bath when I came across this carcass. I played around with it under phase contrast and polarisation and came up with this image, which I thought looked interesting. A bit H.R. Giger.

It was made from a stack of 29 images using Helicon.

It looks like a fabulous vehicle from a Jules Verne story. :)

I was quite stunned by how it looked 'jewelled'. Covered in rubies and emeralds etc..

Yes, it's like a copepod designed by the House of Fabergé. :)
