19 image stack (it should be more), requires another attempt and a lot of processing, because it is probably impossible to clean the specimen...

you are almost right, congratulations (: it IS a thin strip of plastic, I made it by sticking a very hot wire to a plastic cap. You can get very interesting thing playing like that (: this kind of 'tape' is quite rare.
