Looking at that Wikipedia article, I see their definition of autogamy is mainly applicable to metazoa. Ciliates are pretty weird, but are certainly not hermaphroditic! When I have a chance, I might add a few words about autogamy in protists.Pau wrote:Quote from Wikipedia:
