There is some Actinoptychus at this time on the forum, so I give you my version of this very beatifull diatom in phase contrast

Very beautiful and a quite detailed image Dominique, I don't believe I have ever seen one through phase contrast, marvelous!

I think it is the most beautiful diatom and it looks great in phase, Dominique!
