Images from new microscope

Post by curt0909 »

I just purchased a Nikon Microphot AFX with DIC and fluorescence options. Images are with Nikon 10x, 20x, 40x, 60x planapos and Zeiss 40x planapo. Diatom slide by Klaus Kemp. The crystals are an old slide of Taurine.

wow, that is a huge toy... I had it about a year ago but gave up searching for DIC for it and decided to sell it and hunt the E600.

congratulations, DIC images are very good!

Thanks everyone. Its fun to use. A real giant compared to my Reichert Diastar. I miss having 10x and 100x DIC like on my Reichert. It was nice to finally put my Nikon Planapos to work. They were just expensive paperweights for a while.
