Purely artistic view

Post by pwnell »

I am pretty sure all of us struggle sometimes with tiny bubbles being trapped in the slides we prepare. Most of the time when tiny bubbles do get trapped, we ignore them or work around them because they interfere with the subject.

In this case, after I have finished taking photos of Oscillatoria sp. (a cyanobacteria), I saw these three bubbles. It is absolutely worthless from a scientific point of view, but I though the tonal range and composition was quite pleasing. Anyway, here it is.

Yeah I noticed that. So at least there is *some* science in it! :)
